The French interior\nminister announced on thursday 24 February, the same day of the annual dinner\nof the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions<\/em>, his\nintention to dissolve in Zionism\u2019s acid two organisation of solidarity with\nPalestine, the Comit\u00e9 action Palestine (Palestine Action Committee \u2013 Bordeaux)\nand Palestine vaincra (Palestine Will Win \u2013 Toulouse). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to press\nreports, the minister pretends that Palestine Action Committee asserts \u00ab in its\ncharter, its support to all organisation struggling against Israel, including\nwhen using violence and terrorist methods \u00bb. However, this is factually wrong. The\nPalestine Action Committee\u2019s charter calls for \u00ab unconditional support for\nPalestinian people and its struggle for self-determination and national\nindependence. Nowhere does it mention the \u00ab violence \u00bb or the \u00ab terrorist\nmethods \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contrary to\nminister\u2019s blatant lies, the charter engages \u00ab not to take a position in favour\nof this or that form of struggle \u00bb in accordance with the principles of sovereignty.\nThe principle of sovereignty is valid anywhere and at anytime, but the\ngovernment manipulates it according to circumstances. In Africa and Palestine,\nthe peoples are not allowed to resist as they wish but in Ukraine the French\ngovernment legitimizes the use of armed violence. Variable geometry position\ndetermined by France\u2019s immediate and strategic interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A law\ncriminalizing solidarity with the Palestinian people has been a long-cherished\ndesire of the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions<\/em>. With\nthe dissolution of Palestine Action Committee, the government de facto criminalizes\nanti-zionist fight and offers on a platter the head of palestinian solidarity\nassociations to the Israeli Officine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comit\u00e9 Action\nPalestine considers that the struggle enters in a new phase and calls to all anti-Zionists\norganizations to take action against the reactionary and draconian offensive of\nthe French government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An association\ncan be dissolved but you can\u2019t dissolve the truth and the aspiration for\njustice, and even less the willingness that animate militantism in favor of\nPalestine, of the entire Palestine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palestine will\nlive! Palestine will win!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
